MOBILE, Ala. (WALA) – On Saturday afternoon, a group of travelers boarded a boat to the site of the Clotilda wreckage. The Clotilda is the last known slave ship to carry enslaved Africans to America. The vessel now rests in the waters of the Mobile River near Twelve Mile Island.
