Former Spot of Tea restaurant sells for $1.29 million, will be renovated

The former Spot of Tea restaurant building at 310 Dauphin St., in downtown Mobile, was purchased by a local investor for $1.29 million, according to David Kahalley of Shamrock Properties in Daphne, who represented the seller. The buyer plans to renovate the circa 1836 Zoghby-Moore building space for a future development. Mary Daffin of IXL Real Estate represented the buyer. Spot of Tea had been located at that location almost 30 years.
