MOBILE, Ala. (WALA) – In an effort to help the community of Africatown prepare for severe weather, locals gathered for an important meeting with Mobile County Emergency Management and the Red Cross. The meeting, organized by Africatown Teach & Outreach, was designed to give locals the information and resources they need in case of disasters such as hurricanes, floods, or tornadoes.
