Traffic cameras captured a semi truck striking the top of the Bankhead Tunnel in Mobile, Alabama, over the weekend.
The incident occurred around 10 a.m. on September 21.
The top of the truck’s trailer struck the top of the Bankhead Tunnel, causing damage to the roof of the trailer.
No injuries were reported.
In the video, you can see that the truck driver appears to ignore multiple signs warning about the 12-foot height clearance of the tunnel.
WKRG reports that police said the truck driver didn’t notice the height warnings in time to stop.
