MOBILE, Ala. ( WKRG ) — A man was shot at a local apartment complex early Monday morning, according to the Mobile Police Department.

The MPD news release said their officers were called to Crossings at Pinebrook Apartments around 1 a.m. on Monday, Sept. 23, for a report of a shooting.

When they arrived, officers said they found the man had a non-life-threatening gunshot wound.

A building was also hit by gunfire but no one was inside, according to officials.
Police said this is an active investigation.
