(TNS) – Katherine Smith not only brought joy and happiness to those she met, but she was also a queen. Smith was a Mardi Gras queen crowned in 2017 by the Mobile Area Mardi Gras Association. Her sudden death at age 37 has left the organization and her close friends devastated, according to Marcus Catchings, public relations officer with MAMGA.
