Mobile woman accused of robbing two men working on her home

MOBILE, Ala. (WKRG) — A local woman accused of robbing two men at gunpoint in her home has been arrested, according to the Mobile Police Department.

Police identified the woman as 50-year-old Jenit Lee Avery.

According to the MPD, Avery was arrested after officers responded to a robbery at her home in the 3900 block of Creekway Drive East.

INCIDENT LOCATION:

Police said they found that two male victims were working at the home when the homeowner, Avery, demanded money from them at gunpoint.

Further investigations led officers to discover that Avery hired the two victims to work at the home, according to the Mobile PD.

“When the job wasn’t done to her liking, she confronted the men,” the MPD release said.

Avery was booked into Metro Jail on two counts of first-degree robbery.
