Goodwill Gulf Coast to break ground on new Foley facility

FOLEY, Ala. ( WKRG ) — Goodwill Gulf Coast is set to break ground on a new facility in Foley on Oct. 1.

The groundbreaking ceremony is set for 10 a.m. on Oct. 1 to mark the beginning of construction of the 50,000 sq. ft. facility that will be located at 200 E. Azalea Ave. in Foley.

“Having a facility of this size and scope in Foley will help us provide more of our programs and services to benefit individuals and families living in this part of Baldwin County,” Goodwill Gulf Coast President and CEO Frank Harkins said. “This will be the only facility in our 10-county service area that combines all four types of our stores and centers in one convenient location.”

Goodwill Gulf Coast projected the construction to take about one year with a grand opening anticipated for fall 2025.

Randall and Paulson Architects, development partner Piedmont Companies, and construction company Rogers and Willard will work with Goodwill Gulf Coast on the project.
