Mobile Co. Sheriff’s deputies serve search warrant on home of Bayou la Batre PD officer

MOBILE COUNTY, Ala. (WPMI) – A police officer whose duty is to serve and protect is under investigation for alleged crimes against children. Mobile county deputies served a search warrant on the home of Bayou La Batre police officer William “B.J.” Squires. Investigators were seen walking out of the home with a computer. As of now, officer Squires has not been charged with a crime. However, Mobile county sheriff Paul Burch says he wouldn’t have issued a warrant, if he didn’t think there was something to the allegation.
