MOBILE, Ala. (WALA) – Dry and warm conditions are expected to continue over the next few days. Our mornings have been pleasant recently, but our afternoons will continue to feel hotter. In fact, temperatures will reach around 90° each afternoon through about mid-week. Later in the week, we’ll see the return of moisture and slightly higher rain chances in our area. We’ll also be watching the Gulf of Mexico for potential tropical development at this time. An area of disturbed weather located in the western Caribbean will likely move north and end up somewhere in the Gulf of Mexico late this week. Exact details on the positioning and intensity of this potential system remain uncertain at this moment. However, we expect to have a better idea of what will happen by around mid-week.
