Foley, Ala. – (OBA) – Improvements to downtown Foley were recently recognized with the Main Street Alabama Award of Excellence, honoring the city’s efforts to revitalize its historic district. Foley Main Street, the organization spearheading these enhancements, presented the award to the Foley City Council during a meeting on September 16. Among the highlighted projects was the extension of the Perry Wilbourn Antique Rose Trail, a key addition contributing to the city’s recognition. This award marks another milestone in the city’s ongoing efforts to enhance its downtown area.
