THEODORE, Ala. ( WKRG ) — Two local organizations are coming together to raise money for those impacted by Hurricane Helene as recovery efforts continue in the aftermath of the deadly storm .

According to an event flyer, C-4 Cattle Co. and the Gulf Coast Veteran’s Association are partnering to host the Disaster Relief Fundraiser & Cookout from 11 a.m. to 4 p.m. on Oct. 27 at American Legion Post 250.

The Facebook event listing said attendees to the fundraising event can purchase pulled pork sandwiches and hamburger plates. The profits from the plates will help Hurricane Helene and flood relief efforts in East Tennessee and North Carolina.
“Enjoy delicious BBQ & burgers while supporting a great cause,” event organizers said.
There are also donation options linked on the event flyer for those who would like to help but cannot attend the event.
