MOBILE, Ala. (WALA) – The MoonPie in downtown Mobile has received a makeover courtesy of Visit Mobile and Spire Agency. The MoonPie , which hangs on the RSA building downtown, has been a symbol of celebration in the city of Mobile since 2008. The dropping of the 600 pound electric MoonPie marks the start of a ew year as well as the beginning and end of Mardi Gras.
