Theodore man found guilty of manslaughter after 2021 crash that killed veteran

MOBILE, Ala. ( WKRG ) — A Theodore man is awaiting sentencing after being found guilty in a crash that killed Veteran United States Air Force Staff Sgt. Justin Bolton in 2021, according to Mobile County District Attorney Keith Blackwood.

Blackwood said Eric Timko was found guilty of reckless manslaughter in Bolton’s death.

According to previous reporting ,  Bolton was killed in the early morning of Oct. 28, 2021, after Timko’s GMC pickup crossed the center line of Schillinger Road and crashed into his vehicle.

The DA’s office said the crash happened after Bolton left his house, where his pregnant wife and two young kids were sleeping at 3:30 a.m. to head to work in Pascagoula.
