FAIRHOPE, Ala. ( WKRG ) — Two people allegedly involved in a scam at a pharmacy in Fairhope were arrested in Tallahassee, Fla. for the same offense.

According to a news release from the Fairhope Police Department, Nicolae Strava and Loredana Gita Rostas deliberately shortchanged a clerk during a MoneyGram wire transfer.
Police said the couple committed a similar scam in Daphne and were caught in Tallahassee for another similar scam.

They are both facing deception charges and third-degree theft charges.
