Foley, Ala. – (OBA) – The Foley City Council has approved plans for a new medical park in the city’s Medical Overlay District, taking another step to expand healthcare access for Foley and surrounding areas. The council voted to rezone a 9-acre property as a planned unit development, clearing the way for the establishment of additional medical offices and services. This development follows the recent opening of Baldwin Health’s new five-story hospital wing, which increased the facility’s capacity to 142 beds, signaling Foley’s strategic commitment to bolster healthcare infrastructure and meet the region’s growing medical needs.
