MOBILE COUNTY, Ala. ( WKRG ) — Mobile County Sheriff’s Office Deputy Chief Andrew Peak graduated from the FBI National Academy in Quantico, Virginia, earlier this month, according to the sheriff’s office.
An MCSO news release said Peak was one of 252 men and women from 48 states, the District of Columbia and Guam to graduate. The graduates of the academy’s 292 session represented 27 countries, eight military organizations and five federal civilian organizations.
According to MCSO, each participant is recommended by their agencies to attend the 11 week course of advanced communication, leadership and fitness training.
“On average, these Officers have 21 years of l enforcement experience and usually return to their agencies to serve in executive-level positions,” the MCSO news release said.
