MOBILE COUNTY, Ala. ( WKRG ) — In a string of changes ahead of Mardi Gras 2025, another has been revealed. Lagniappe has purchased Mobile Mask.
The magazine’s owners took to Facebook Saturday afternoon to make the announcement.
Calling it their ‘Farewell Tour,’ the owners say the 2025 magazine will be their last issue, but not the last issue.
Laginappe will take over beginning with 2026 issue and, in the owners’ words, “make Mobile Mask even better.”
Sales for their 13th issue will begin on January 6th. The first “revelers guide to Mardi Gras” came out in 2011.
