Genesis, however, said that is not true.
“I’ve been wrongly accused by law enforcement, and their job is for justice,” Genesis said.
According to Genesis, she and Lazarus arrived at his house around the same time when she noticed a strange man walking up. She described the man to be 5-foot-8 and having a darker complexion.
She claimed the couple was chatting outside when the strange man tried to get into the backseat of her car and asked for a ride up the road.
“Lazarus came to the right side of the door, and he opened it,” Genesis said. “Then pow. The gun went off.”
