“Right when I turned around there were like 8-10 cop cars outside,” said Tanner Williams he was a passenger in a silver Nissan Altima. “They all had their guns pointed at us and I thought we were going to get killed that day.”
Williams and his two cousins Derrian and Devin McCovery are still trying to process what happened.
“Let me see your hands and there is a single barrel shotgun facing my side and there are pistols scattered across all the cars,” said Derrian McCovery. “The first thing I thought was what did we do? Did we do something wrong? We don’t have anything, we don’t do anything.”
The Loxley Police Department received a tip that a suspect in the Ja’Tavious French murder in Bay Minette was inside the car.
