Jaguars Raid Conference Rival for Tight End

Tight end has historically been a productive position for South Alabama, so with the graduation of seniors DJ Thomas-Jones, Todd Justice and Andrew Bench, Coach Major Applewhite and his staff have been looking to bring in quality replacements to continue the tradition. While they’d already signed JUCO All-American Brec Long and received a commitment from prep recruit Maddox Lynch, they wanted an additional, proven piece at that spot and they found one in Miller McCrumby.

McCrumby (6-3, 238) spent three seasons at Arkansas State after a standout career at Mount Pleasant (TX) High School that saw him named a consensus three-star prospect. In his final two seasons for the Red Wolves he played in 22 games and recorded 25 catches for 208 yards, four of those receptions and 35 yards in two games against the Jaguars.
