FBI hunting for 6 other suspects in alleged lottery scheme out of Baldwin County

MOBILE, Ala. (WALA) – While four Jamaican nationals accused of stealing over $200,000 from elderly victims remain in custody, six other suspects are on the loose.

On Feb. 7, the FBI arrested Peter Walcott, Malik Chambers, Romario Nembhard and Jermaine Smith in Foley.

According to an affidavit, the suspects tricked victims into believing they had won a lottery. But before they could claim their winnings, the victims were told they had to pay “taxes.”…
