Residents of Baldwin County are fortunate to be surrounded by farm and pasture lands. When you throw in the many “farmers markets”, like the Farmers and Fisherman’s Market in Foley, we see how the farm to table mentality has become so prominent along the gulf coast.
Now the Gulf Shores High School is preparing for its annual Farm to Table event, a program that connects students with local agriculture and supports fresh, healthy meals in the school cafeteria.
