Mobile man accused of stealing car, running from police

MOBILE, Ala. ( WKRG ) — A Mobile man was arrested after allegedly stealing a car and fleeing from police twice, News 5 has learned.

According to a Mobile Police Department news release, officers received a call Saturday at about 3 p.m. of a car that had sped into the woods near the 8000 block of Tanner Williams Road.

When officers arrived, they learned the car had been reported stolen and had been involved in two attempted traffic stops earlier in the day, the release said.
