MOBILE, Ala. (WPMI) — Our pattern takes an unsettled turn today with waves of active weather through the end of the workweek.
After starting out quiet today, clouds increase and the risk of rain goes up! Coverage will be for just under half of the NBC 15 neighborhood Highs will range in the upper 70s to lower 80s. It’ll also be breezy at times with winds out of the east.
We are under a level 1 (marginal) risk of severe weather with isolated severe storms possible through early Wednesday morning with the main threat being damaging wind gusts. Scattered thunderstorms will be around today with rain action really ramping up later tonight. Rounds of downpours and thunderstorms are in store tonight into Wednesday. In fact, through 7AM Wednesday the western edges of our area is in a level 3/4 moderate risk of excessive rainfall that could lead to flash flooding while the most of us are under a level 2 slight risk and the far eastern edges under a level 1 marginal risk…
