MOBILE, Ala. (WALA) – “It’s by the grace of God I’m here right now talking to you,” said James Burns.
A lot can change in an instant and it did for United States veteran James Burns. After serving time in the navy, burns returned home to Mobile and eventually became homeless. But through it all he remained as positive as possible.
“Sometimes life gives you what it does and you make the most of it,” said Burns. “You find the silver lining, it might be hard to find but it’s there. Hope springs eternal.”
