A weather alert was issued by the National Weather Service on Sunday at 6:18 p.m. for strong thunderstorms until 6:45 p.m. for Washington and Mobile counties.
Look for marble-sized hail (0.5 inches) and wind gusts of up to 30 mph.
“At 6:17 p.m., Doppler radar tracked a strong thunderstorm over Citronelle, moving north at 15 mph,” says the weather service. “Gusty winds could knock down tree limbs and blow around unsecured objects. Minor damage to outdoor objects is possible.”…
