DAPHNE, Ala. (WPMI) — Daphne resident Barbara Strassen remembers a time when she lived on a farm in rural Missouri, and one of her neighbors discovered a pile of abandoned puppies, or so he thought.
“So, he gets off the tractor, he picks up the puppies and he’s looking at them. But it wasn’t a dog puppy, it was a coyote puppy! And mad mama came after him. And he was lucky he got back to the tractor before she got him!”
