Mobile County breaks ground on new Lewis Landing pocket park on Three Mile Creek

MOBILE, Ala. (WPMI) β€” On Wednesday, the Mobile County Commission, along with its community partners, broke ground on Lewis Landing.

It is a nearly two-acre pocket park located north of downtown Mobile on Conception Street Road. The park will provide Mobile County residents with water access. Construction is expected to take six months.

β€œIt has always been a destination you can drive through here, and you will find people standing on the bridge fishing. That is not an unusual site, but now they have a safe place to be with some protection and amenities. It is just going to up it, because it is already used in its current state.
