“We’re bringing the lake back!” City of Mobile celebrates Langan Lake dredging project

MOBILE, Ala. (WPMI) — More recreation access will soon be coming to the lake at Langan Park. City of Mobile officials say it is the last phase of the Three Mile Creek Watershed Restoration Project. City leadership says the multi-million dollar dredging project will not only improve water quality but it will also bring the lake back to it’s former glory.

“Anybody who is a Mobillian and been around here they can tell you something about their experience at Langan Lake,” said Mayor Sandy Stimpson at a press conference Thursday morning.
