An updated report was issued from the National Weather Service on Saturday at 1:10 p.m. for strong thunderstorms until 2 p.m. for Washington and Mobile counties.
Brace for marble-sized hail (0.5 inches) and wind gusts of up to 40 mph.
“At 1:09 p.m., Doppler radar tracked a strong thunderstorm 4 miles southwest of Deer Park, or 10 miles east of Leakesville, moving east at 20 mph,” says the weather service. “Gusty winds could knock down tree limbs and blow around unsecured objects. Minor damage to outdoor objects is possible.”…
