MOBILE COUNTY, Ala. (WKRG) — A Mobile County man accused of stealing a pickup truck and leading law enforcement on a chase is now behind bars, News 5 has learned.

Mobile County Sheriff’s Office deputies and Semmes police officers arrested Timothy Taylor, 38, of Wilmer, after a vehicle pursuit that began in the Moffett Road area and ended on foot, according to Semmes Assistant Police Chief Jeff Eiland.
Taylor allegedly stole a white pickup truck before leading law enforcement on a chase Thursday night, according to Eiland.
The suspect allegedly ran a stop sign in the Moffett Road area, and Mobile County deputies began chasing him, according to officials. Semmes police officers reportedly followed.
The chase ended when Taylor left the vehicle and ran away on foot, according to Eiland…
