CITRONELLE, Ala. (WKRG) — One person was hurt after a shooting Friday night in Citronelle. According to a Facebook Post by Citronelle Mayor Jason Stringer, police were called to the Jr. Food Mart just before 11 pm.
The mayor says two people were in a fight when one person shot the other. The person who was shot was taken to a hospital in Mobile for treatment. Stringer says “the shooter remained on the scene, providing aid to the injured party until police and first responders arrived and is cooperating fully with the investigation.”
