MOBILE COUNTY, Ala. (WPMI) — Mobile County has a new program to help residents whose homes were impacted by Hurricanes Sally and Zeta or who were living in the Mobile area in the fall of 2020 when the storms hit.
It’s called the Homeownership Downpayment Assistance Program, which can provide qualified individuals or households with up to $50,000 in assistance. The program is funded by ADECA, and Mobile County says it intends to assist about sixty families who are purchasing a single-family dwelling.
