Mobile man arrested on drug trafficking charge after traffic stop: MCSO

MOBILE COUNTY, Ala. (WKRG) — A man is in jail accused of trafficking methamphetamine.

$1.5 million of cocaine washes up on Baldwin County beach

Mobile County Sheriff’s Office deputies conducted a traffic stop near Old Pascagoula Road and March Road around 12:30 a.m. Friday.

During the stop, 56-year-old Jeffery Scott Howard, the front-seat passenger, was found to have an active felony warrant for Possession of a Controlled Substance.

A search of his person resulted in the discovery of approximately 46.6 grams of methamphetamine and a small amount of marijuana.

A narcotics detective was notified, responded to the scene, and took over the investigation…
