Chunchula man killed in car crash in George County, Miss.

GEORGE COUNTY, Miss. (WKRG) — A Chunchula man was killed and three others were injured in a crash in George County, Miss., Sunday evening.

One dead, others hurt after four vehicle crash in Summerdale

According to a Mississippi Highway Patrol news release, the crash happened at about 7:40 p.m. on Highway 612.

A 2018 Nissan Rogue, driven by a 30-year-old from Semmes, was going east on Highway 612 when it collided with a 2008 Cadillac STS, driven by a 24-year-old Lucedale, Miss., woman, that was going south on Walt Tanner Road, according to the release.

Memori Maxwell, 44, of Chunchula, who was a passenger in the Cadillac, died at the scene. Both drivers and a 28-year-old Semmes woman who was a passenger in the Rogue, were taken to the hospital with injuries, according to the release.
