MOBILE, Ala. (WKRG) — A Mobile man who pleaded guilty to manslaughter and first-degree assault through a plea deal has changed his mind.
Mobile woman accused of attacking another woman
On April 12, 2020, 22-year-old Alvin Dees of Mobile, was shot at Peppertree Apartments and later died at the hospital.
Harry Davis, 26 at the time of the shooting, and Hyron Davis, 21 at the time of the shooting, both of Mobile, were arrested in connection with the incident. Each man was charged with 6 counts of discharging a gun into an occupied or unoccupied building/vehicle, murder, and attempted murder, according to jail records.
On June 3, Harry Davis entered a plea agreement with the state, pleading guilty to the lesser charges of manslaughter and first-degree assault. As part of the plea deal, all charges of discharging a gun into an occupied or unoccupied building/vehicle were dismissed, according to a court document.
In an agreement between the defendant, his attorneys and the state, sentencing was withheld until June 16, but was then reset for June 24, the document said…
