MOBILE, Ala. (WKRG) — A woman was arrested in Mobile after she allegedly tried to steal a man’s car.

According to a Mobile Police Department news release, at about 4:15 a.m. today, officers were called to the 60 block of North Catherine Street in reference to an incident.
When officers arrived, they talked to a man who said he had been driving in the area of Old Shell Road and North Catherine Street when a woman asked him for a ride, the release said.
When the man refused, the woman got into the back seat of his car. When the man got out to address the woman, she got into the front seat and tried to drive off, according to the release.
