Local pastor charged with robbery pleads guilty to lesser charge, court records show

MOBILE, Ala. (WALA) – A local pastor accused of pistol-whipping and robbing another man in May has plead guilty to a lesser charge, court records show.

Court documents said Roy Powell plead guilty to a misdemeanor charge of fourth-degree theft of property after initially being charged with first-degree robbery, a class A felony.
