MPD officer exposed to fentanyl, uses Narcan on himself, police say

MOBILE, Ala. (WALA) – According to the Mobile Police Department, an officer has been exposed to fentanyl after responding to a call.

This all happened shortly after 9 p.m. on July 18 near Selma Street and Rapier Avenue. MPD told FOX10 News the officer responded to a call of a suspicious person, which resulted in him being exposed to fentanyl. The officer was able to use Narcan on himself and went to a local hospital.
