Sydney Gray’s “Little Miss Heard But Not Seen” is part of a musical she wrote last year about a teen girl struggling to fit in at school and home called “Anavaly.”
Gray’s Fairhope classmate Charlotte Guilian is the vocalist on the song, which was published by Concord Music.
Gray won the National Alliance of Music Theaters and the National Alliance for the Arts Musical Theater Songwriting Challenge for High School Students, both in 2024 and 2025, the first ever to do so.
