MOBILE, Ala. (WKRG) — A new short film created in Mobile is gearing up to be shown in local schools this fall with a mission that goes beyond entertainment.

“You Still Have a Choice” was created to spark conversations with teenagers about consequences, decision-making, and the reality of gun violence. It follows a student who finds himself at a crossroads, whether or not to use a gun to protect himself in a conflict.
“The biggest thing is we want people to think before they act, which is why he said what he said at the beginning,” said D’Ambro Chatman, the director of “You Still Have A Choice.”
What did the character say? “You’re either on the inside looking out or you’re on the outside looking in. Either way, you probably think you’re right until you act on what you feel. And then oftentimes, it’s too late once you do that.”…
