MOBILE, Ala. (WPMI) — Tuesday the Mobile City Council will consider awarding a $16,797,719.65 contract for major upgrades on the St. Louis Street corridor to McElhenney Construction.
The project will reconstruct infrastructure on a 17-block stretch of St Louis Street in downtown Mobile. The project includes the reconstruction of the roadbed, adjacent, and subsurface infrastructure within the St. Louis Street right-of-way. According to the City, the project is planned to be done block-by-block.
