MCSO: Juvenile charged as adult after firing flare gun at another juvenile’s face

MOBILE, Ala. (WALA) – A 16-year-old suspect will be charged with first-degree assault as an adult after allegedly firing a flare gun at another juvenile’s face, according to the Mobile County Sheriff’s Office.

The victim was taken to a local emergency room for treatment of burns to the face, the MCSO said. This happened on July 4.

Investigators said the suspect pulled the flare gun from his waistband and fired it at the victim after he and the victim had been arguing. The suspect fled the scene immediately after this incident, the MCSO said…
