MOBILE, Ala. (WPMI) — Ramie Renee Freeman, also known as Ramie Renee Marston, has been indicted in Mobile Federal Court on charges of Bak Fraud, Wire Fraud, Aggravated Identity Theft and Making False Statements to an Agency of the United States.
According to the indictment, the Wire fraud and false statement charges stem from the purchase of a car in which she provided to the dealership “altered and forged documents” regarding her sources of income, claiming fraudulently that she receives alimony and SSA benefits.
The remaining counts apply to a scheme, according to federal authorities, in which Freeman assisted at least one couple in filing unconsented divorce filings in Baldwin County. Using the Nextdoor App, Freeman advertised her purported company, Legal To Go, LLC, to assist couples without an attorney in divorce filings.
