MOBILE COUNTY, Ala. (WKRG)—First responders are back home in Mobile County after being deployed in Texas for more than two weeks. They helped those impacted by the July 4 flooding that claimed the lives of more than 130 people.
Mobile apartment complex overrun with trash and critters
First responders rolled back into the area after a 15-day rescue mission to help victims of the Texas floods.
“Just the amount of destruction in the area, it was unreal,” Garrett McClain, a paramedic at Saraland Fire Rescue, said.
