Gulf Coast electric vehicle owners to share insights at free event

MOBILE, Ala. (WKRG) —Members of the Bay Area Chapter of Drive Electric Alabama will host a showcase featuring a variety of electric vehicles at Greer’s Market, located at 260 St. Louis Street.

On Saturday, Aug. 1, electric vehicle owners will be able to engage in one-on-one conversations with individuals interested in learning more from 10 a.m. to 2 p.m.

Drive Electric Alabama members will showcase a wide range of electric vehicle models and provide information on electric vehicle technology, their range, affordability, and the experience of owning one.

“There’s no better way to learn what it’s like to drive electric than to talk to a real-life EV owner,” Henry Brewster, a leader with the Bay Area Chapter of Drive Electric Alabama, who helped plan Saturday’s Event, said. “We hope to see a big crowd Saturday.”
