MOBILE, Ala. (WALA) – Prosecutors on Monday announced their intention to seek the death penalty for two men charged in a double homicide that occurred during a robbery at a home barbershop.
A grand jury recently upgraded charges against Michael Terrell Stone 21, of Mobile, and Santoine Tyreek Johnson, 20, of Prichard, to capital murder.
The shooting took place in March last year in the 600 block of Euclid Avenue. Prosecutors allege that Stone and Johnson killed two people and wounded two others with an AK-style pistol during a robbery of a wallet and a gold necklace.
