MOBILE, Ala. (WKRG) — Mobile’s Department of Public Safety pulled out all the stops for their Sirens and Scoops event on Thursday afternoon.

The event featured Cammie’s Old Dutch ice cream, firetrucks, motorcycles, police cruisers, SWAT vehicles, and horses.
Kids were able to go up, sit in the cool rides and pet the horses.
“What we have here today is the community being able to come out, engage with us, see the positivity that we bring to the to the table for them, come out, explore some of the vehicles that our guys get to use every day,” Mobile Police Chief William Jackson said. “Maybe it’ll spark some interest in them.”…
