Woman charged with Arson after allegedly setting ex-boyfriend’s car on fire at Alabama shipyard

BAYOU LA BATRE, Ala. — A woman has been charged with second-degree arson after allegedly setting her ex-boyfriend’s car on fire in the parking lot of a local shipyard in southern Alabama while he was at work, according to police.

The incident occurred around 6 a.m. and was captured on surveillance video. The footage shows the woman pulling into the employee parking lot, surveying the area, and then entering a white car that police say belonged to her ex-boyfriend.

She is later seen returning to her own vehicle to retrieve a piece of paper before going back to the ex-boyfriend’s car…
